Философия спорта: диалоги о предмете и перспективах исследования

В дискусійній формі обґрунтовується необхідність розвитку філософії спорту, філософського аналізу проблем тілесності людини, обговорюється проблема взаємовідношення науки й філософії, підкреслюється прикладне значення діалектичної методології в сфері фізичної культури і спорту. Створена в Росії під керівництвом професора В. І. Столярова інноваційна школа філософського аналізу спорту і тілесності людини ставить за мету наукове обґрунтування значущості гуманістичних ідей у сучасному світі, реалізацію їх у сфері спорту, олімпійського руху, тілесної (фізичної) культури, рекреації, організації дозвілля, виховання дітей та молоді, ідеалів і цінностей гуманізму.
